The Speed Project is a race dedicated to the places running can take you, if you let it.

As the saying goes, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”
An all-women’s team of runners, supported by an all-women’s team behind the lens.

They started in LA, complete strangers.
340 miles later they crossed the finish in Vegas as friends.

Our goal was to celebrate the beautiful nightmare,
the surreal place that exists out there beyond the horizon.

We went against the norm of traditional sport photography
and leaned into something new to capture the high’s, the lows,
and things miles & minutes can’t measure.

What came out of the desert is a poetic homage
forged by the women who chose to find out
what exists on the other side of their limits.
